In its time, it was considered a funny parody on the "Snow White" feature film released by Disney in 1937, but in later years has become offensive to many. Banned for release by United Artists in 1968; rarely seen on TV and not released on home video. The color short has a reputation for excellence, for the animation as well as for the jazz & swing music score.
