Blue Book Magazine was a sibling to "Red Book" and "Green Book" magazines, and was published under various names from 1905 to 1975; launched as "The Monthly Story Magazine", published May 1905 to August 1906; changed to "The Monthly Story Blue Book Magazine" from September 1906 to April 1907; from May 1907 to January 1952, it was known as "The Blue Book Magazine", "Blue Book Magazine", "Blue Book", and "Blue Book of Fiction and Adventure"; changed to "Bluebook" from February 1952 to May 1956; on hiatus from June 1956 to 1960; revived in October 1960 as "Bluebook for Men"; and changed to "Bluebook" again for the final run from 1967 to 1975.
