Helen is a clerk at a railroad who is either endangered by bad guys or heroically saves the railroad and its rolling stock and men. Filming took place at the Glendale, California railyards of the Southern Pacific Railroad, on the Sierra Railroad in Central California, and on the Santa Fe Railway in Las Vegas, New Mexico (episodes 21-25).
Based on a novel by John Russell Corvell and the play by Denman Thompson; adapted by W. Scott Darling & Frank Howard Clark; episodes 1-48 were produced & directed by J.P. McGowan and starred Helen Holmes; episodes 49-119 were directed by James G.
